L.E.A.F. Series Term 2   

Learn, Explore, Appreciate & Focus at this monthly educational series hosted by Sholom Park. Special guest speakers share their knowledge and expertise on a variety of topics that relate to wildlife & nature, the great outdoors, or the parks mission for finding inner peace. Join us on the third Friday of each month from October through December for an outdoor and interactive learning experience.

Native Plants For Your Florida Yard:

Native plants are incredibly valuable to pollinators and to our native wildlife, but do you know what native plants are and which are suitable for your yard? Join us as we learn about the importance of native plants and which beautiful groundcovers, flowers, vines, trees or shrubs you may like to add to your own landscape, some of which you will see as we meander around Sholom Park.

Sound Bath in the Formal Garden:

Join Vanessa Fuller Brown for a therapeutic, meditative, and relaxed listening experience, ‘bathing’ in sound waves and vibrations produced by various instruments. Gong Flow, Rhythm Harps, Healing Drums, Tibetan Bowls, Vocals and various acoustics. The program will conclude with a group planetary meditation. Please bring seating, mats, cushions, and meet at the Formal Garden of Sholom Park.
