Stained Glass Beg. Bevel Panel NEW!
In this Bevel project for beginners, students will learn the basic skills of Stained Glass. Students will be given 10 bevels. They will replace two or three of the bevels with the glass they cut in class. We will also discuss working with bevels, hinge points and learn how to reinforce your projects. Homework may be required.
There is a $20.00 material fee paid to the instructor on the first day of class, plus some items from home:
One roll of paper towels
One old towel. (Any size)
Scissors
Window cleaner (just something you already have home)
Rags of 100% cotton, if you have any
Prerequisites: A willingness to learn and have fun. No previous Stained-Glass experience needed. Students should be able to use hand tools, i.e., pliers, and be able to stand for a period of time and have arm strength to cut glass. Closed toed shoes should be worn.
