Discover the Sport of Kings: Polo In Ocala    NEW!

Join Lauren Proctor-Brown DVM, Director of The Ocala Polo Club for a Polo 101 hands on class on the Sport of Kings - Polo! This is the best team sport played on four legs! Participants will first attend a presentation and Q&A about the rules and history of the sport. Then move to a demonstration of the strokes on the wooden horse. Participants will then have the opportunity to try their hand at polo strokes - either on a wooden horse or with a foot mallet and your feet planted on the ground. Finally they will have a chance to meet a polo pony in person before enjoying the Sunset Polo Match at Ocala Polo.  

Participants will have access to a 10x10 tent during the polo match for shade. A food truck is onsite during the match. 

Note: Please bring a hat, sunscreen and a chair to the Polo field.

3-4:30pm- Class on Polo
5pm- Polo Match
