Social Media 101: Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn    NEW!

Social media platforms are how many people communicate and learn in 2022. Social media platforms have been around since the 2000s decade but many people have still yet to use them. Those that "dabble" in social media platforms may also not realize the full extent of their usefulness and capabilities. Three platforms used by many older adults are Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This workshop will provide a basic overview of each social media platform and recommended strategies for use. Participants will also complete an activity to define their "guardrails" for each platform and develop a profile statement.
