Valentine's Day Sweet and Treats NEW!
Come and hear some of the legends of St Valentine, and some popular myths concerning this lovers holiday. While your host recounts stories to you, you will be creating a candy heart vase with flowers to present to your loved one. One legend contends that St. Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, so he outlawed marriage for young men, which were his crop of potential soldiers. Imagine that? Where did Cupid come from? Who decided a heart represented Valentine's Day? Get all the answers here in the class. Learn, create and best of all have a few laughs and fun! Note: Supply fee of $15, due to instructor at time of class.
