Let's Make Sterling Silver Stacking Rings
In this class, participants will make cute stacks of rings that adorn one or more fingers, and have the materials and time to make several rings. This is an introductory level class and open to beginners. Explore some basic hand fabrication techniques such as soldering, texturing, sawing, disc cutting, forming and dapping. Materials supplied will include enough metal for 5-7 rings, gemstones and stamped metal shapes.
Supplies to Bring to Class: A small ruler, and a magnifying visor is helpful. Contact the instructor several weeks prior to the start of class, if you want recommendations on a visor/magnifier and to establish a student discount at a Jewelry Supply company.
For safety reasons, please wear closed toe shoes and no loose clothing. Longhair should be tied back. This class requires a certain level of manual dexterity and hand strength. Please be aware of your limitations before registering for this class.
