Advanced Kitchen Chemistry: Anodizing Niobium for Jewelry    NEW!

In this new class, students will spend two days exploring advanced techniques in anodizing such using an electrified paintbrush, various ways to mask their metal to create unique designs, as well as ways to selectively remove color in preparation to add another. This class is designed for returning students.  
Day One: Conceptualize pieces, form and finish each piece, then choose techniques to explore and map out procedure.
Day 2:  Complete all findings and closures. Finally, anodize using selected methods.  

Note: For safety reasons, please wear closed toe shoes and no loose clothing. Longhair should be tied back. This class requires a certain level of manual dexterity and hand strength. Please be aware of your limitations before registering for this class.
