Australia has earned its reputation as the worlds most innovative artisans of Shiraz wine production. These potables are full bodied and deeply flavored, often with overt eucalyptus notes. Global demand is high and so are prices. Let's explore a select group of Premium ($25 to $55/bottle) Shiraz wines and learn key regions that produce these gems. Hands on, Mate.
Note: Students must 21 or older and bring a wine glass to the class.
This course will include a tasting of up to eight 1.5-ounce tastings of various wines. All registered participants are fully aware alcohol will be distributed in the classroom for possible consumption and will accept full responsibility for transportation to and from the classroom.
