Art "In" History   

Every painting tells a story, but understanding how to uncover that story can deepen the experience of viewing art. This class introduces participants to techniques for observing, describing, and interpreting paintings while considering their historical context. Participants will develop skills for looking beyond first impressions, discovering details they may have overlooked, and gaining a greater appreciation for works of art, even those that may not initially appeal to them.
