Lecture and tasting of wines from central Spain. Once known as the land of cheap and cheerful wines, Central Spain has elevated its game to a quality player. A unique mix of grape types adds flavor identity, unique to the region. It's time to journey through "El Centro" and evaluate their contribution to Spanish viniculture. ¿Te apuntas?

Note: Students must 21 or older and bring a wine glass to the class.

This course will include a tasting of up to 9 1.5-ounce tastings of various wines. All registered participants are fully aware alcohol will be distributed in the classroom for possible consumption and will accept full responsibility for transportation to and from the classroom.
