Beyond Our World    NEW!

Space- a final frontier, or is it just the beginning? As part of this class, we will start here on Earth and then explore some interesting aspects of our own Solar System. Then, we’ll continue outward to enter Interstellar Space.

Our virtual exploration will probe the outer reaches of the Universe, including some of the extremely perplexing issues scientists face today. For example, we know our Universe is expanding much faster than we believe possible. How can this be? We’ve seen galaxies spinning at extremely high rates of speed, but our Physics can’t explain this.

What are the limitations as explorers to time travel? Does our Universe even have an origin that we can view in the night sky? And if there is life out there, how can we go about searching for it? Curious? Join the instructor and take that journey together.
