Advanced Black and White Zentangle Heart Class

This class is for advanced art students. Learn how to use repetitive patterns to create a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. Use a fine tip black Sharpie to create an ornate Zentangle heart. Embellish with a red inner heart. Fine sketch paper, an acid free 12x12 mat and backing is included. Markers to use during class are provided.

Join Vanessa Fuller-Brown in this two-session guided mindful art practice exploring the psychological color wheel and the emotional impact of color. This course is an introduction to expressive art techniques and the use of emotional color. It is a guided therapeutic, meditative and intuitive creative process. Drawing Buildings for Beginners NEW!

Anyone can draw buildings. You will learn (or refresh previous learning) basic techniques for drawing buildings to give the illusion of depth on a flat surface. This is called linear perspective which can be grasped easily - especially by those who think they cannot draw. Supplies to bring to class: 12"x18" drawing paper or pad, 18" ruler, white eraser, No.2 pencil.

Tesseltangle

This is a meditative drawing experience of patterns and spontaneity combining Tessellations and Zentangle. No previous drawing skills needed. This beginners course will introduce the student to creating three basic Tessellation patterns (i.e., M.C. Escher) and applying free-flowing Zentangle patterns.

Supply list: 1 sheet of card stock, ruler, pencil, 9”x12” or 12”x18” drawing paper pad, fine point and extra fine point Sharpies, tape (clear or masking.)
