Create these lightweight and beautiful earrings in this afternoon class. Learn how to create a hammered line-fold and add some amazing textures to these copper blanks. Then experiment with adding colors to your creations with a Creme Brulee torch. Create and add sterling silver ear wires and then they are ready to wear.
In this mini-class, students will just scratch the surface of Fold-Forming by exploring the basic line fold. Each person will create a pair of earrings that they will then patina using a torch. This will be a super fun and fast-paced class.

In this class, participants will make cute stacks of rings that adorn one or more fingers, and have the materials and time to make several rings. This is an introductory level class and open to beginners. Explore some basic hand fabrication techniques such as soldering, texturing, sawing, disc cutting, forming and dapping. Materials supplied will include enough metal for 5-7 rings, gemstones and stamped metal shapes.
Supplies to Bring to Class: A small ruler, and a magnifying visor is helpful. Contact the instructor several weeks prior to the start of class, if you want recommendations on a visor/magnifier and to establish a student discount at a Jewelry Supply company.

In this class, we will make a larger 10 inch tree of life suitable for wall or window. This tree will not only incorporate gemstones put a myriad of other objects as well so as to create a tree truly full of life with birds and animals. The Tree of Life is a powerful symbol of family, renewal and growth. In this course the student will learn the skills needed to complete a wire wrapped Tree of Life with gemstone "leaves," and birds and animals.
We will also discuss how to utilize these same skills to create larger pieces suitable for hanging. This piece can be completed within 2 hours. Some tools, such as pliers and nippers will be provided by the instructor.
