In this basics class, participants will be introduced to the "Expert Mode" in Photoshop Elements 2020. Learn how to use the most common tools in the expert mode, how to add text to a picture. Many people cannot understand the concept of "layers," so they will be explained to get much more versatility in any Photoshop projects that are decided to be tackled. Stue has four decades of experience teaching Photoshop and Photoshop elements. This is a fun end easy way to learn Photoshop. You do not need to have Photoshop Elements 2020 to take this class. Any version of Photoshop elements can be used. It is recommended that you have Photoshop Elements on your computer at home, so you can practice at home after each class.

This basic/intermediate class will teach students how to get more out of their DSLR camera. They will learn how to navigate their camera settings, functions, and access other menus that will help improve their photographic skills. Students are required to bring their DSLR cameras with charged batteries for some hands-on time during each of the classes. If you own a tripod, please pack that as well. We will be taking photos throughout the class as we navigate the camera settings. Let’s have some fun!

Explore a universe within’ our reach with macro photography. Learn how to capture close-up images of small subjects, including bugs, flowers and more. Equipment and technical basics will be introduced to students, along with covering the topics of composition and the art of imaging water droplet refractions. One of the classes will be a trip to Shalom Park, allowing students to apply the techniques learned in the classroom. The last class will be a review of student images and wrap up discussions on the world of macro photography. Equipment requirement: DSLR camera (tripod, macro lens optional)

Finally, the class students have been asking for. This course will cover more fun and exciting ways for using Photoshop Elements. It will expand on content learned from Photoshop I. It is recommended for students to first take Photoshop I before taking this class to familiarize themselves with the program.

In this class you will learn to manage and organize your photos on your iPad by managing your photos in the iCloud, working with albums, sharing your photos through social media, and editing your photos. This class is for iPads only so bring to class your fully charged iPad.
