This course introduces students to the world of robotics focusing on LEGO's Education SPIKE™ Prime Robotic Set, utilizing the Building Blocks programming method. Students will learn how to make the robot move and turn with accuracy. They will be introduced to programming using Force, Color and Distance Sensors, along with using Repeat Blocks, Sound Blocks, Light Blocks and If-Then/If-Else Statement blocks. Advanced topics include Event Synchronization, Variables, Acceleration, squaring on and following a line. Students will be presented with challenges utilizing the skills learned during the course. Be part of the fun working on programming challenges in order to accomplish different robotic tasks.
In this basics class, participants will be introduced to the "Expert Mode" in Photoshop Elements 2024. Learn how to use the most common tools in the expert mode, how to add text to a picture. Many people cannot understand the concept of "layers," so they will be explained to get much more versatility in any Photoshop projects that are decided to be tackled. Stue has four decades of experience teaching Photoshop and Photoshop elements. This is a fun end easy way to learn Photoshop. You do not need to have Photoshop Elements 2024 to take this class. Any version of Photoshop elements can be used. It is recommended that you have Photoshop Elements on your computer at home, so you can practice at home after each class.
Finally, the class students have been asking for. This course will cover more fun and exciting ways for using Photoshop Elements. It will expand on content learned from Photoshop I. It is recommended for students to first take Photoshop I before taking this class to familiarize themselves with the program.
This class is for everyone who has taken the Photoshop Elements I & II class, and would like more practice and experience using Photoshop Elements. We will delve deeper into the many tools that Photoshop has to offer and give participants more practice on the tools they already know.

The importance of computer chips (also known as semiconductors or integrated circuits) cannot be overstated. These tiny yet powerful components are at the heart of modern technology. Computer chips serve as the building blocks for electronic devices, from smartphones and laptops to servers and supercomputers. Power in the modern world – military, economic, geopolitical – is built on a foundation of computer chips.
Access to cutting-edge chip technology is crucial for military systems, including radar, communication, and encryption. Nations vie for control over chip manufacturing to ensure their security and defense capabilities. The United States has dominated advances in chips, but that edge is in danger of slipping. China is pouring billions into a project to catch up. The United States and China are engaged in a high-stakes race to dominate chip production. Making computer chips has become the new arms race.
