Sometimes we just can’t work in a raised bed garden or an in-ground garden.  There are benefits to container gardening and allow everyone to have a wonderful experience growing their own food.  The talk will include getting started, what to plant, when to plant and the maintenance of a vegetable garden in a container.

Stormwater ponds are everywhere in Florida. They can be a vital part of the community when heavy rains and tropical weather arrives. However, they can also cause concerns for residents due to pests, weeds, snakes and other wildlife. If managed correctly, they can provide habitat that may not otherwise be available. Join us to learn more about the purpose of storm water ponds and their benefits, & challenges.

Most of the bugs we have in our gardens are beneficial to plants.  It is only a small percentage  that harm plants but they can be deadly.  This is the place to learn which bugs are good and which are harmful and how to manage the harmful ones.
