Circle Square Cultural Center (CSCC) brings world-class performers to an 930-seat entertainment venue in Ocala, FL. Each event on the schedule involves a tremendous amount of planning and preparation. Come behind the scenes with Gary Pierre, Jessica Marshall and Gary Manges to see the "green" rooms, where performers do make-up and costuming. Learn about the front of the house and backstage equipment management. The team shares information about how shows are booked, sometimes years in advance, and what it takes to bring a group to the CSCC stage. Hear insider stories about show production, which are interesting as well as entertaining! After attending this class, you will never again think about a concert in the same way.

This museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the city's history with an impressive collection of fire related memorabilia. Thousands of items are on display including a segment of 9/11 World Trade Center steel, antique fire extinguishers, early medical equipment, a life net, fire alarm boxes, firefighting uniforms, a collection of international fire helmets and so much more. Learn about the devastating Thanksgiving Day Fire of 1883, why fire uniforms are blue in color, and other interesting information during this guided tour.
Registered students meet at: 615 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Ocala FL 34475. Parking is available for the Ocala Fire Museum near the police station or the fire station. The first responder complex is located just north of the railroad track and Madison Street Elementary school.
Join us for a presentation from our very own construction team to learn about the techniques and features of homes built at On Top of the World. Learn about all construction stages, as well as exactly what the HERS, Energy Star and Florida Water Star rating entails. Students will meet the instructor at the MTP building for a classroom instruction. Students who are intersted in visiting homes under construction are encouraged to join for Part II of this course.

Nearly 74% of the best 2-year-old racehorses in training pass through Ocala Breeders' Sales and are sold buyers from 44 countries and 49 states. The October sale focuses on the horses as yearlings on their journey to becoming racehorses.
Note: Students will meet at Ocala Breeder Sales and will receive location information on their print receipt. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, as we will be inside and outside on a guided tour to see horses and barns. Food Hall onsite for those that want to come early for breakfast or stay after for lunch on their own.

Step inside the world of elite Thoroughbred racing with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Vegso Racing Stables in Ocala, Florida. This immersive experience follows the full life cycle of a Thoroughbred,from birth to racing career and beyond.
Begin in the broodmare division with mares and foals, then visit the weanling area, the training barn, and observe horses in training on the racetrack. The tour concludes with a visit to see retired horses enjoying life after racing. Founded by Chicken Soup for the Soul publisher Peter Vegso, Vegso Racing Stables is renowned for breeding and campaigning top-quality Thoroughbreds in Virginia and Florida, including three-time Virginia Derby winners, 2017 champion 2-year-old filly Caledonia Road, and graded stakes winners such as Go Between and Lord Miles.
Select horses will be available to feed approved snacks, and all participants will receive a goodie bag. Students will drive on-own to the farm for the tour.
