Understanding Medicare

This class will explore Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medigap Plans (Supplements), Prescription Drug Plans and Low Income benefits. This course will reduce confusion about this very complex issue, and will explain all the options available to make an informed decision about healthcare. Those who are new to Medicare, or are existing Medicare beneficiaries, can have their questions answered.

Mind and Motion - Parkinson's Education and Support for Patients and Caregivers

This monthly class can help anyone diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and the loved ones that assist with care. The class emphasizes education, fitness and support. Sessions alternate monthly between presentations and support discussions. Educational sessions are led by professionals covering Parkinson's resources, research and symptom management. Includes support sessions for both people with Parkinson's and care givers.
We also cover trending topics and may include gentle exercises specific to Parkinson's.

Due to facility requirements, registration for patients and caregivers are required for each date.  Please note that there is a maximum enrollment for this support group.  If you have registered and you realize you will be unable to attend please contact MTP to have your name removed from the roster so that your seat is available to another attendee.  If the maximum enrollment is reached and you are not registered, you will not be allowed to attend.
