Any child registered for courses must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to attend classes. Attending adults must attend with a child. Adults cannot register without an attending child.
Per Child – When enrolling for this course, you will register each child using the child’s name*. The parent/guardian can attend without registration.
Per Project/Kit – When enrolling for this choice, you will register one child to complete one project or kit, which can include the adult assisting in the completion of the project/kit. If you prefer to make individual projects/kits, you will need to register both the child and adult separately. Additionally, if you have more than one child and wish for each child to complete their own project/kit, each child must be registered separately.
Per Person – Each child* and adult must register separately. (Adults cannot register without an attending child.)

Get ready for an awesome field trip to E-ONE in Ocala. On this special tour, go inside a HUGE factory where real fire trucks and rescue vehicles are built from the ground up. See how big pieces come together to create amazing emergency vehicles like ladder trucks, fire engines, and airport rescue trucks. Learn how talented builders, engineers, and designers use cool tools and high-tech machines to make sure every truck is strong, safe, and ready to help people. With nearly 1,000 team members working together, it’s like a giant teamwork project happening every day. This tour is perfect for kids who love fire trucks, want to know how things are made, or are curious about how heroes get the vehicles they need to save the day.
Note: Participants will be providing their own transportation to E-One for the class.
Start Time: The tour will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please plan to arrive early for check in and parking.
Dress Code:Closed-toe shoes are required. Anyone wearing open-toed shoes will be denied entry.

Join us for an exciting and interactive clay teacup painting workshop where both kids and adults will collaborate to unleash their creativity! Participants will have the opportunity to work together in glazing their own tea cup, infusing it with unique personalities and charm. With a wide array of vibrant colors to choose from, every teacup will reflect its creator's imagination. All necessary supplies, tools, and firings are included in the workshop. Once completed, pick up your finished teacups on Friday, July 10th, between 1-3pm at MTP.

Join Debbie Garcia‑Bengochea, Education Director of Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses, for an inspiring look at one of the nation’s most unique therapy programs. Gentle Carousel is a nonprofit organization that trains miniature horses to provide comfort, encouragement, and therapy to children and adults in hospitals, schools, hospice care, and communities affected by trauma. Registration is required to attend.
These gentle, highly social horses visit patients, students, and community members to bring joy, reduce stress, and support emotional and physical healing. In this course, Debbie will share the story of Gentle Carousel, explain how these therapy horses are trained, and show the ways their programs, including literacy, rehabilitation, and trauma support, make a meaningful impact. Students will even have the special opportunity to meet one of the miniature therapy horses in person, experiencing firsthand the magic of these small but mighty equine therapists.
Come enjoy a little Christmas in July and leave with a one-of-a-kind holiday keepsake. In this workshop, students will design and create their own Christmas-themed snow globe using colored glass, frit, and a variety of decorative embellishments. Choose from classic holiday motifs like Santa, gingerbread houses, trees, or winter scenes, or create your own whimsical design.
Maybe you remember Cub Scout events of building and racing your pinewood car. Maybe you don't know what a pinewood car or race is. Either way, come join the fun. We'll take a wooden shell, made of pine, of course, and assemble its wheels and accessories. We'll paint and decorate the cars and then race them for a prize! You get to keep your Pinewood car once you create it!
