Aqua Arthritis

Do you have arthritis, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis?  Come join us for joint specific related exercises done in the warm water of the Ranch indoor pool.  The exercises are approved by the Arthritis Foundation for an aquatic workout and each participant will receive a handout of the 65+ exercises practiced during the class.  Learn how to move those painful joints through their full range of motion with the aid of the water.  No swimming skill required as this is a shallow water class.

NOTE:  Students need to bring a bathing suit, change of clothes and towel for the class.

This is an aqua class with brain health benefits. The exercises combine carefully crafted fitness drills with cognitive challenges. The outcome is health improvements for both body and brain. Expect the water aerobics exercises that you love, along with an added challenge for the brain.  Get your body and brain cells moving with Aqua Brain Power in the pool. You have one minute to work it. With 25 one-minute exercises, get a full-body cardio workout using water resistance. A variety of exercises will target all three planes of motion. A handout with the 25 exercises will be provided to help with practice anytime, anywhere.  No swimming experience necessary for this shallow water class.
