Hydro Pilates

Hydro-Pilates are non-impact strengthening and stretching movements that require precise breathing and muscle control utilizing the principles of stabilization, control, flow of movement, concentration, breathing, and full range of motion (ROM). These Pilates principles were developed by Joseph Pilates. The class will be held in the warm water pool at The Ranch. No swimming skills necessary.

Note: Students need to bring a bathing suit, change of clothes and towel for class. This class is being held at The Ranch Fitness Center & Spa.

Improve Your Balance in the Water

Every 20 minutes a person dies from a fall. If you are 70 years of age or older, you are four times more likely to fall than the population as a whole. The water is a great environment to improve strength and to improve your balance. The class targets stabilizing muscles which will help keep you on your feet. The class starts with basic simple balance exercises and slowly progresses to more challenging movements. It is held in the indoor pool at The Ranch. No swimming skills necessary.

AquaFit Wellness: Dive into Health with Water Fitness NEW!
