Water-Based Fitness   

How is exercising in the water different than exercising on land? One key difference is that doubling the speed of movement in water increases the force on the body fourfold. While air offers little resistance, water is approximately 800 times more dense and 12 times more resistant than air. Participants will experience this unique environment firsthand in a shallow-water class, feeling the force of the water as they work through specific movements. Increasing muscular strength is one of the primary objectives of the course.

Note: No swimming skills are required as this is a shallow water class.

Aqua Boot Camp is a high-energy workout that combines traditional Boot Camp exercises with the water's resistance for a challenging and effective workout. Thirteen circuits are positioned around the pool and each participant works to complete that circuit before moving on to the next one. This dynamic class will enhance your strength, cardio and endurance to new levels while being gentle on your joints. No swimming skill required, as this is a shallow water class.

Experience a refreshing blend of movement in this new workout- Noodles/Buoys/Cardio (NBC). This is a water-based fitness class designed to nurture body, balance, strength training, and cardio training. Aqua noodles and buoys will be used and will be provided by The Ranch at the class. This class is perfect for all fitness levels. No swimming skill required, as this is a shallow water class.
