Pilates for Beginners NEW!

Pilates was created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, who called his method 'Contrology'. During this class we will use equipment such as large Swiss balls, small balls, light weights, bands and a mat. We will emphasize core strength, hip strength, glute strength, flexibility, and balance. All fitness levels are invited, must be able to get up and down off the floor. Please bring a small towel and bottle of water. All fitness equipment will be provided. The class will be held at the Ranch Fitness Studio at Circle in the Square

Hydro Pilates

Hydro-Pilates are non-impact strengthening and stretching movements that require precise breathing and muscle control utilizing the principles of stabilization, control, flow of movement, concentration, breathing, and full range of motion (ROM). These Pilates principles were developed by Joseph Pilates. The class will be held in the warm water pool at The Ranch. No swimming skills necessary.

Note: Students need to bring a bathing suit, change of clothes and towel for class. This class is being held at The Ranch Fitness Center & Spa.

In this workshop you will learn how to keep a healthy face, practice isometric facial exercises and facial acupressure points. Apply a lymphatic draining facial massage, and do some eye, neck and shoulder exercises. From the Yoga Face Method you will learn the importance of bringing nourishing blood flow to the face. Please bring a mirror to class.
