Participants will explore the art and science of using resin to create lifelike floral arrangements. The class begins with an overview of resin properties, safety considerations, and best practices for handling. Students will learn how resin can be used to achieve the illusion of flowers suspended in water, as well as basic principles of floral design, including composition and balance. Following the instructional segment, they will apply these techniques to create their own resin-embedded floral piece and make an elegant display for the home or a meaningful gift for someone special.

This lecture/trunk show will give participants the information required prior to enrolling in the "Begin at the Beginning:  Quilting 101" course.

This six-hour course will continue to teach participants how to make pine needle baskets. In this course, participants may choose different options for basket creation. They will have finished a basket by the end of the second class. 
Note: There is a supply fee for this class, and it is based upon the bottoms and thread that participants choose to use for basket creation.
